Hey all, first off, WHAT UP! thanks for checking out my section of the up and coming site christianrocker.com. Let me secondly say, that I've been looking for a site like this for quite some time. myspace is great, purevolume is great, but this site is a Christian site. It can be tough finding people who respect the hard work of a Christian artist, because of the lyrical content that might be in their songs. I myself believe strongly on not backing down lyrically. I'm in your face. Jesus is the way, truth, and life! that's the truth.     Well, now that I've said all that, let me tell you some about my music background. I'm currently 21 years old, and have played guitar for almost 13 years. I've played drums for probably about 10-11 years, bass guitar for 5-6 years. I've always loved music. I've never really been in a band; find it easier just to do the solo thing.     Ever since the beginning of its introduction in the early 90's, I've loved the grunge thing.  After I was saved, I started looking for this same sound in Christian music. It wasn't their. Sure, their was good stuff, but not to the extent as in the mainstream market. Now in the 2000's that's finally starting to change! THANK GOD!!! I've always loved the sound of bands such as Alice In Chains, and after they left, Tantric. That would be who I would say my biggest musical influences are. Also, recently, I've really taken a liking to the sounds of Sevendust, so this has started to influence my writing style.     Like I said before, I'm not in a band. I started tracking music about 7 years ago on a Fosdex 4Track recorder. Later, I started going digital yaaaaaaay! good stuff! I've recorded a lot of songs! I'd like to call them ruff demos. I've got around mmm, probably 150 of them sitting on my hard drive. I take from these, what I would consider to be, what I would call project worthy tracks. A project is either an EP or full album. I've recorded three of these projects, two albums, and one EP, when I couldn't find enough project worthy tracks. I go back, listen to the demo's, relearn them if I have to, and rerecord them again, adding, and changing where need be.      I recorded the first album in 2004. I called it "More Beauty Then Gold". I did this right after picking up some new recording gear, I had never mixed with a full set of drum mikes, and it's noticeable hahaha. The album has 12 tracks on it, one written while recording the project.  I recorded the EP in the summer of 2005. The quality is some what improved, but I had a lot of varying song styles on the project. I didn't like this after the fact. In the summer of 2006 I had enough tracks for another full length. I new before I recorded this that I wanted to do more with it then I had with the other prier two. I recorded 14 tracks on the album, 11 of them in the same styling. I new what I wanted, and tried my best to hit it on the dot. This recording, quality wise sounds the best out of the three, and, the most like what I had dreamed for it to, if that makes any since.     I went through cdbaby.com to get it out on the market THEY ARE AMAZING! all that they do for the independent artist just blew me away.Check out my third project "Reviving The Lifeless" at

As far as the recording process goes, I lay down drum tracks first, then guitars, then bass, and finally vocals. I like to do 3-4 part harmony’s vocally to capture that Alice or Tantric feel.      Well that's some about what I do. I really hope you enjoy the tracks. I work hard on them, and it's really something to bring the Christian music seen something that's not already their.check out my myspace
