Okay...Fayette just rocks on the reviews. So here's mine. I rated you a 4 and this is why: I too like the upbeat feel of the guitars and the instrumentation. It'd be the type of song that you put in your car and bob your head to. You can also totally see you feeling completely amazing walking out the door wanting to be so happy it scares people, ha! lol. It explains your feeling without the after taste of "I screw my smile on this tight ALL the time." (laugh, that was a joke). keeping in mind that it is a demo: I too agree that the vocals could be tighter. There are definitely some pitch cliff jumpers that make the song a little erratic and wild. I too have had to go through my songs and take a pencil to runs and vocal licks that are not tight enough. It's hard when you're the songwriter to be that objective about the song. your vocals are the first thing that you hear that allow the listener to know that the song has started. which brings me to the second point: the intro should be shortened...establish the chord progression sooner or else people are left like "get to the point already." I too have had to deal with that sort of thing. Over all, keep up the great work, I hope you post another song soon. I think with some training and tightening, you'll have a really solid song and following =0) bless-a u mucho E

I love the info that went with this song. There are many many thing I liked about this recording and song and only one thing that I did not. I don't want to spend many words on the one thing but that is what I feel you need to work on the most to make this an excellent production. That one thin is the vocal track. They seemed unsure and off pitch a lot of the time. It's not that they can't bee good, or the singer has a bad voice but it seemed like he was not yet practiced enough on this track when they were recorded. So in a nutshell the vocals need to be more sure and accurate. Enough of this lets talk about the thing this track has going for it. I love the up beat feel of the guitars and the instrumentation through out the song. the song it self was very catch too me and the song write did a great job in my opinion. I liked the bridge and the return to the chorus. I thought the instrumentation was done well. It was fleshed out enough but not too much. Chadwick Hailey has many things going his way and I am excited for his possibilities and I trust God will Bless him, using him where he is now and at the same time increasing his talents!
