PERSONAL TESTIMONY:
I recognized my sinfulness at the age of 7 and prayed with my Mother and asked Christ to come into my heart and save me (John 3:16).  At the age of 28, I realized that I had become the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32).  I cried out to the Lord in great brokenness and repentance and the Lord heard me and answered my desperate cry.  I asked the Lord to help me live the rest of my life for Him and I told Him that I wanted all that He had for me and that I would in turn give Him all of me.

PERSONAL GROWTH:
By faith in the Lord Jesus Christ my family and I strive to live our lives to worship God and teach and lead others to worship God in the freedom of the Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24).  I have grown to understand a little better my daily desperate need for Christ, my need to know His word and the power of prayer.  I have grown to love my wife and sons more deeply.  I have grown to love God’s church and His people more passionately and deepened my desire to see the lost come to Christ.  I cannot grow as a godly man, husband, and father or worship pastor without the accountability of other godly men.  I am still growing and thankful to be a part of a strong and growing church in Shelbyville that stands as a bright light for Jesus Christ (Luke 8:16-18; 11:33-36).

PERSONAL STUFF:
My beautiful and amazing wife, Mary and I will have been married for 8 years this February 13, 2007.  We have three amazing sons, Noah, 5, Samuel, 3 and baby Elijah, born this past November.  God is so good, all the time… (Psalm 40: 1-8).  I love to spend time with my family and go on dates with my wife.  I like to walk our dog Lucy and play V-smile with Noah.  I love my talks with Noah late at night and sometimes early in the morning.  I love Samuel’s hugs and making him laugh.  I love to play monster and pray with both of them at bedtime.  I love the wonder of holding Elijah and looking into his grey/blue eyes.  I also love Starbucks, snow skiing, traveling, meeting new people, talking, singing to the Lord, reading, sleeping, going to the movies and super heroes.  I would consider it a great privilege to know you and pray for you and hear what God is doing in your life…
