I haven ‘t been doing it because my bandmates have. I thought tonight I would go ahead and take a little time to give a heads up on how the CD is going and some other cool things. We also have a cool treat for the folks who are reading this right now - so keep reading.
#1 Question - How is the CD going? Thanks for asking this question. We get it daily and are humbled beyond belief with the positive sales. We have sold many from day one and continue to do it with more sold at every show we go to. Not only the CDs are going well so are the NEW T-Shirts with the Fishers of Men design. If you haven’t gotten yours yet you can order it off of our web page www.eyesuponus.net.
#2 Question – How can I get the new CD? Another question we get daily and thank you for asking. Well as of last week you can get it just about anywhere. If you have a local Christian bookstore or music house close to you all you need to do is ask them to order it for you. We are in their system as of last week. If you would rather order it off the web you can go to: eyesuponus.net, cdbaby.com, digstation.com, soon itunes and so many other places. If you live near Lexington, KY you can go to Terry’s 5 & 10 in Versailles, Corinth Book Store in Frankfort, and CD Central off of University of Kentucky campus. But if you just want to download a song or two, the best place is cdbaby.com or digstation.com
#3 Question – Are you getting any Radio play and if so what song are they playing? You guys rock with your questions, so spot on perfect. YES! We are on WLRY in Columbus, Ohio and just last night I was told we were on 107.5 ZROCK in Pikeville, Ky. The song that seems to be getting alot of attention and is being played on not just those radio stations but on many Internet radio stations is “Scars” (track #4 on the CD). Oh yeah, just a quick note - if you would like to hear us on your local Christian Radio Station and or internet radio station let your radio station know. Just call them up and ask for it. More than likely they will do it for you.
I have more answers to your questions but I think I will give it a rest for the night and tell you something cool just for you. For a limited time we are going to give you a free download of “Reach For Him” off of our new CD, starting yesterday thru to Saturday the 27th of September at 9:00pm EST. We would like to give all our friends and fans that have helped us get to where we are today back some love. We could not have made this CD without God, family, church and friends. I ask you to tell everyone you can think of to go and download this free song and, if you like it, buy another song or better yet, the whole album. GO (www.eyesuponus.net/Secretpage.html) for your free download.
I wish everyone well and blessings. Keep God first “always!” Eric Drane Drummer – EYESUPONUS

A Bit of a Break |

Hey everybody, hope your week is going well. Your humble blogger here caught a bit of a bug over the weekend, and I’ve been recuperating with lots of sleep. I think I made some bad chicken teriyaki the other night :( Anyways, after a show on the Ichthus campgrounds, some generous folks from a youth group from Paintsville gave us free weekend passes to Ichthus. In exchange, we hope to do a show for them in the future. Eric went out Friday morning/afternoon, but I wasn’t going to be able to head out until Friday night, unfortunately, that’s the night that the storms came and cancelled that night’s events. I did get to go out for a little bit on Saturday and walk around, but there weren’t any acts playing that I was overly interested in. Anyways, if you’ve looked at our current schedule you’ll know that we have a little break here for the next couple weeks. This is good because we had a good, but busy week playing on the Ichthus campgrounds and the earlier show with ilia. Like I was saying, we get some time to relax a bit before a busy 3-day set of shows on June 27th, 28th, and 29th. June 27th we will be back at the Upbeat Cafe. I am excited to be going back to this venue because the last time we were there we packed the place...we were something like 5 or 6 over the fire code! The next day we have a show at a youth rally in Owingsville. We’ve never been to Owingsville but youth rallies are always fun and we love the energetic crowds. Then, to wrap up the weekend we will be at Pinckard Baptist Church for an acoustic set. It’s going to be a busy weekend, but I can’t thing of any better way to spend my weekend. Before I go, I went to send thanks to ilia and all those who came to the show this past Wednesday. We had a great time, and I know that ilia appreciates your support as well.
