I starting singing (arguably) when I was in 4th grade but didn't pursue more intensive training until 8th grade.  I knew I always wanted to sing either on Star Search or be able to sing something like in Sister Act 2.  Fast forward to Senior year of high school, I worked very hard for six months and was accepted to Florida State University as a vocal performance major.  At least one of my two ambitions panned out, I got to sing in the FSU Gospel Choir, which rocked!  Anyway, fast forward again to finishing college with, not a music degree, but a Sociology degree.  I moved up to Atlanta and spent what would have been "graduate work" being trained as a stylist.  Singing on the worship team at my church in Atlanta really helped me to improve my chops but more importantly grow closer to God and grow in leading others into worship.  During that time, a client of mine suggested I go to a vocal studio with an awesome owner, very well known in the industry.  I started voice lessons again with the owner's colleague and now have not only found favor with both my voice instructor and the owner but with God! Fast forward to now, February 2007:  I just finished my first EP (titled Window Seat) and will be shopping it around pretty soon.  Looking forward to adding on to this "biography."
