Window shopping in downtown Atlanta with grandma around the age of learnin' talk, I excitedly pointed through the nightime glass and proclaimed to municipal hearing;" Jitar mumma Jitar"(thats guitar in oldfolks venacular). Well I had to wait a decade or so to get my first one at 13. It was up and downhill from there! My Mothers daddy was the first man to preach on the radio in Atlanta area, and I was raised in a short string of his Baptist churches. I cried when they sang and I cried when they backbit each other to pieces. So I turned my ear to the unsure promises of all kinds o' rock n' roll. Graduated North Clayton High School in '69 and took my 1st job as the gtrst in a 3piece band at Andy Marino's "Copy Cat" on W.Pchtree st. in Atlanta(my birthtown) that began a 12yr. long adventure canvasing the S.E. with various Combos playing every imaginable venue, experiencing the worst our hippie sub-culture had to offer. Anyway, the Lord eventually baited me into going to the Riverdale church of God where my younger brother was an associate pastor and one Thanksgiving evening service in 1980 Jesus very distinctly issued to me my "last call". I repented on the way back to Anniston Ala.(going to a late night holiday gig) via I- 20 drivin through a veil of tears. Jesus ministered to my heart so much to the point that I "KNEW" that HE was everything that I had so aimlessly endeavored to find> I quit the band that wknd and gave up the gtr(my god of the times). The Lord asked me to serve Him with it  and the rest is all history in the making haha! The devil IS a loser ! Hallelujah !!
