NCM Artist of the Year 2007

Matt was recently awarded a NCM (New Christian Music) Artist of the Year 2007 in the Praise & Worship Male - UK & Eire. He joins a line-up including Paul Baloche, Joanne Cash and Cathy Burton.

NCM's Paul Davis (a founder of the UK's branch of the Gospel Music Association and UK Christian Music Alliance) wrote of Matt and his debut album "Undone":

"an up-to-the-minute, young singer-songwriter who takes no prisoners. An emotive, direct but mellow voice, it radiates attitude"

"Bursting with capability, this album is an assorted and inventive repertoire merging scripturally-rich line with arresting melody."

Matt is very much looking forward to to receiving this award from George Hamilton IV at the NCM/UKCMA ceremony in Leighton Buzzard, UK on March 1st 2008. Matt will also be performing at the ceremony with other award winners.

Matt's song "Most Beautiful" was recently released on an NCM Disc, which went out to over 500 Music Industry experts worldwide and received many complimentary comments.
