Hey guys great job having the sitar in the beginning. it reminds me of what the band "drop of red" does with their instrumentation. I really enjoyed this sound! keep it up!
great musicianship, good song musically and lyrics. Sound is mixed pretty good too. only complaint is Sounds like you could have used better mic's, but even so. it was a good mix and other wise very well produced and btw nice rocking sound you got!
In the world of rock music in general today theirs a lot that's offered. Flip on the radio, and you'll most likley hear something new and enspiring, well, this is true for secular/mainstream rock. In the world of a Christian, sometimes called away from the mainstream music market, this is pretty much the opisit. Don't get me wrong, the Christian market has a lot more to offer now then it did 5-10 years ago. It just seams like most of the big Christian record lables are signing bands that sound the same, Tooth and Nail=emo/screamo. Solid State=metal. Wheres the inbetween? Wheres the unique?
Well, on to the comment for you guys. I like this stuff, it sounds unique, for Christian music, can't put a finger on any one band that has this sound, this is good!
I'd offer you guys to fans of Creed, Nickleback, Evensblue, 10years.I would say more bands but honestly want to keep this realistic.
On to the tecnical side of things.
Vocals: seam flat some times
Instruments: only listened to two songs, but they were both in C Sharp, try to brodden this out some, Tune down to B Flat! I love that!
it will help people with perfect pitch not get ticked.
Drums: I liked the double bass work.
Keys: I'd only asume you all have a keyboardest, like the strings in one of your other songs, sorry, I know I'm not reviewing that one..
anyways, don't know if you all are signed or not, but think you would be a great adition to the known Christian market
good job guys!
