Biography
So, there we were, in a downtown Chicago club, we'd packed the place, and we were ready to go, but without a band name. We grabbed the paper and Dave pointed at a catchy headline. Two minutes later, "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, BrownLine Fiasco!" What started out as five guys who got together to fill an opening slot for a friend's band has turned into five guys who stuck together-now they record together, laugh a lot together, and oh, yeah, write great songs together, too. Mike (vocals/guitar), Sean (bass), Glenn (drums/vocals), Michael (lead guitar) and Dave (keys/vocals) realize that this is all a gift. "We are live fleshy humans trying to recreate the soundtrack of a higher calling. We intend to write music and lyrics that are positive and memorable." With years of writing under their belt and the experience of opening for headliners such as "Cheap Trick" and "Stryper". And most recently, for their song 'Milk and Honey' winning 1st place in Billboard's 14th Annual World Song Writing Contest and grabbing an exclusive spot on The Great Independant Rock CD Volume 1. BrownLine Fiasco has their sights set on bringing their jacked up, feel good, pump your fist in the air convoy into a dark, dark world, or a poorly lit club near you.
