Tayla has been performing and singing in major public performances since the age of four. The grandchild of famous jazz drummer Dean Hodges, her musical roots were established early and some claim are even part of her genetic coding! This is hard to argue, since she played the lead role in the musical Godspell when she was only 13 years old.

Now at the tender age of 16, Tayla has just completed her first full length album with multi-million selling producer and musician Ken Mary (LaRue, Ever Stays Red, Alice Cooper, The Beach Boys, Ricardo). Already garnering tremendous critical acclaim, including a three and one half star review, (out of 4), in the largest and most influential Christian music publication, CCM Magazine, a featured artist on Spirit 105.3's Local Music Project, & opening for The Afters, Everyday Sunday & Ruth, the future is looking extremely bright for this young worship leader!
