Biography My life is focused on serving God in full time ministry in Gods timing. Im currently taking classes for ordination. I gave my life completely to Jesus Christ January 29th 2003 and I have never looked back. God has blessed me in so many ways and I love being in His Word daily. I lead worship at Skyline Church on Saturday nights for the 6:00 PM "effect" service and love worship and praise music and through Godly lyrics and music reach out to those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ and those seeking a relationship with the Lord. There is no greater passion that I have then serving God and singing Praise and Worship music. January 1st 2007, Skyline Church hired me on staff as the interim assistant pastor for the mature adult ministry. Another blessing and gift from God. I absolutely love sharing the word of God with my Christian family "Impressions", a group of mature adults who live out Christianity. I have total trust in God and stand firm upon His rock and that He has a plan and purpose for everyone. The provision is that each person have open eyes to see, ears to hear and soft hearts. God is constant and dependable.
The demonstration of God's love through evangelism and song. "....but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence," (1 Pet. 3:15, NASB). I was born in Trenton New Jersey and lived a great portion of my life on a cattle and horse farm in Tewksbury New Jersey. I have a sister Linda who resides in New Jersey and my Mother Patricia who lives in Pennsylvania. I have two sons Jeremy and Jason who reside in Indiana. I joined the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of seventeen as an enlisted Marine. Through my active duty years in the Marine Corps, I achieved the rank of NCO, Staff NCO, Warrant Officer, Chief Warrant Officer 3 and LDO leaving the Marine Corps in May 1988 as a First Lieutenant. I then entertained internationally and co-starred in television and film roles. I thought I had a great plan for myself and since I had no relationship with the Lord, had no idea that God had a different plan for me in my future and was waiting very patiently. My lifetime and childhood friend Kerry Leedle never gave up on asking me if I had a relationship with Jesus Christ every time we spoke to each other and my answer for 45 years was always the same. "No Kerry, I believe in God and I'm a good guy, and it's a private thing between me and God". Well, in December of 2002 she finally convinced me to attend Skyline Church and my life soon was to change. (Thank you Kerry!) On January 29th 2003, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I accepted Christ as Lordship over my life! Since then my life has a real plan, a purpose. I stand on His rock and seek Him in all things. I met my wife Sandy who God blessed me with beyond any dream I could have dreamed. I am content with my life because I find my contentment through Jesus Christ. My calling is to be a pastor in serving those people God places in my life. It's not about me. The the first time in my life I understand my purpose. Most people never reach that understanding of their life. It can only be found in having a true relationship with Jesus Christ. I owe my foundation of knowledge in the Lord to Mike Rogers who took time to desciple me, to teach me who Jesus Christ is on Wednesday nights in his garage and on many occassions taught me past midnight as I became more hungry and on fire to learn more about my Jesus and still after four years and three months still takes time to meet with me and discuss Jesus Christ. I consider Mike one of my greatest blessings and brother. I have been surrounded by some of the best Christians I know, and that's not by mistake. I hunger constantly for the word of God. To understand it and share it as soon as I can and where ever I can. |
