In the beginning, a group of Christian guys in the southern tier of New York State who loved music and loved God were asked to use their talents to share some music at a local church coffee house. Given just ten days to put it all together the first incarnation of the band and its name, Ten Days, were born. 

Since the formation of the band, they have seen various line-up changes and played music ranging from contemporary worship to heavy God focused rock. Six years later Ten Days continues as a three piece band comprised of singer/songwriter and guitarist Allen Nichols, bassist Bob Kuhnel and background vocalist and drummer Rick Vary. Collectively they deliver an array of original guitar-driven hard rock music that speaks the message of truth in a way that relates to all who hear.

The Greater meaning… Through the years of seeking God's direction and guidance in building the band, the name TEN DAYS has taken on even greater meaning. The Bible says in Revelation 2:10 "Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." The message is clear. In personal life and in ministry - God wants us to stay the course and be faithful to Him regardless of what the evil one may bring to test us. This verse serves as a backdrop for the band as they are encouraged by God to stay the course in service through music and continue to seek God's direction in their call daily.

Allen Nichols, lead vocalist and guitarist for the band states - "Our goal is to share the love of God and how it has impacted our lives through the medium of music. God has used music in powerful ways to speak to each one of us and we are driven to deliver His message in that powerful way to our lost generation. Ultimately, in all that we do, we desire to point people to Jesus Christ."

In the band’s six year history they have performed many concerts in pursuit of their mission. They have lead worship for church services, played for youth groups, shared at coffee houses and have been invited to play at Christian festivals including “One in the Son” and "God's Creation Festival" in upstate New York.
