Brian Keith. From The Coasters to Northcreek, he has worked with some of the greats. From a very youthful beginning, Mr. Keith has been playing the drums since the age of four. Growing up in Tennessee, he was able to appreciate the sounds of Country music through a family friend that was the drummer for Con Hunley.
"As far as what inspired me to become a drummer, I would have to say my childhood friend's father. In the seventies, he was the drummer for Con Hunley. At the time, Con was an up and coming country singer. I would sit for hours and watch these guys practice in my friend's living room in amazement of the sounds that they were able to make with their instruments. I noticed everything! Plus, the neighborhood kids would play in Con's limo while he was inside practicing! Not a bad playhouse!
From 2002-2005, Mr. Keith, working with Northcreek, had the pleasure of sharing the stage with nationally known artists: The Newsboys, Superchic[k], Audio Adrenaline, Reliant K, and Rachael Lampa. While playing with Northcreek, Brian has had the pleasure of playing festivals, churches and conferences in Illinois, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Kansas City and Ohio, to name a few. Northcreek is currently touring to limited venues in support of their latest cd: "Bottom Line Freddie", a harder sound that truely defines Brian's unique style as a drummer.
Along with studio sessions work, songwriting, and working with nationally known artists as a support musician, Brian is slated to spend most of 2005 touring with Contemporary Christian Music's newest addition: Northcreek, in support of their latest release. Brian has recently been sought after by The Coasters for a follow up show soon to be announced.
A multi-instrumentalist, Mr. Keith's studio credits include Drums & Percussion, Guitar, Bass, and Backing Vocals.
