So we arrived in Budapest, flying from John Lennon in Liverpool. We left freezing -6 British weather, but here it was a nice 18 degrees.....nice! We arrived late, went to Dave, the tour promoters, house for some great food, and then to the OM training centre, where we were staying that night. The morning took us into downtown Budapest for some press and Radio interviews. All good, any excuse to rant! Our first gig was about 2 hours away from Budapest, in Jaszbereny, we arrived at lunchtime, which is always good, ate, soundcheck was fine, and then some chill time before showtime! We were playing in the main Rock venue in Jaszbereny. The gig was great, good crowd, loads of fun. After the gig, a local restaurant owner had closed his restaurant especially for us, great time with the support bands and local promoter. Amazing food! Next day we travelled way east to Debrecen. Big city, really great venue, amazing crowd, felt stirred to preach the gospel and make an appeal, several people found Jesus that night, amazing, I love preaching in secular rock clubs, it was a great great night, the tour is getting better. We ended the tour back in Budapest, playing in the famous K2 club, such a great venue. It was packed to bursting with 500 crazy hungarians, what an amazing crowd, the best we have played to in a while. It was the most fun we've had on stage for a long time, brilliant. God was with us that night again, we preached the gospel, challenged the crowd, which was a mix of believers and unbelievers. All in all it was a great tour, we made a lot of new friends, played with 2 great support bands and the crowds were AMAZING
